Kaylee and I decided to write our lyrics about someone burning bread simply because I wanted to make a song about bread. We thought it would be fun to make a song about someone blaming another person for burning bread, because the original song is about Eliza getting mad at Hamilton and the word that sticks out the most is “burn”. Kaylee and I had a lot of fun making the song together and it some of the recordings you can tell we are on the verge of laughing. We actually rerecorded one the parts, but in the isolation booth instead of the music studio, so see if you can tell the difference.
